What We Believe

At Inlight, our faith is the foundation of everything we do. We seek to inspire, encourage, and build a community centered on the truth of God’s Word.

1. The Triune God

We believe in one eternal God who exists as three distinct persons: the Father, Jesus Christ the Word and eternally begotten Son, and the Holy Spirit — co-equal, co-eternal, and of one divine essence.

2. The Bible as God's Word

We believe the Bible is God’s inspired and authoritative Word — without error and fully trustworthy — and the final guide for all matters of faith and life.

3. Jesus Christ: Fully God and Fully Man

We believe that Jesus is the eternal Word made flesh — fully God and fully man — a truth we affirm through the doctrine of the hypostatic union. He was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died for our redemption, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will return in glory.

4. Salvation Through Christ

We believe that all have sinned and fall short of God’s glory. By grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, we are saved, made new, and brought into right relationship with God through the Holy Spirit.

5. The Holy Spirit’s Presence and Power

We believe the Holy Spirit indwells all believers, producing spiritual fruit and empowering the Church with gifts such as teaching, prophecy, healing, discernment, and tongues — all for the building up of the body of Christ.
